A brief history of LG
Founded under the name of Goldstar in 1958, LG Electronics Inc. is a multinational electronics company with headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. The LG brand came into being after Goldstar merged with Lucky (Korean Lak-Hui). The abbreviation LG basically stands for Lucky Goldstar although it can also be attributed to the company’s slogan of "Life’s Good".
