COWON/IAUDIO C2 16 GB MP4 Player - black

I bought this player after my iPod decided to give up. <br /><br />
The first I noticed straight out of the box was how small the player is. It's smaller than a credit card and about as thick as a smart phone. But the build quality is very high and it has a good weight to it.<br /><br />
Getting any media onto the device is very easy as it is a simple drag and drop interface. <br /><br />

The player can be used with Windows media player to sync, but if you are switching from iTunes to WMP (like me) you will have to change album info once in WMP. The player seems to have issues with how iTunes tags albums and tracks.<br /><br />

The sound this player creates is better than any other on the market. The player has dozens of pre-set equalizer setting, but the ability to customise your own is a God send. This allows you to create your perfect EQ setting on the fly, without have to plug into a computer.<br /><br />

The battery in this device is also jaw dropping. It lasts about 50 hours. I haven't had to charge it up since I finished syncing it. That was well over a week ago with constant use.<br /><br />

The only downside to this player is the screen. it is not particularly responsive and if you are used to using any modern smart phone than this will take a bit of getting used to. <br /><br />

The UI is a bit peculiar also but once you get used to it it is a breeze.<br /><br />

I would highly recommend this player to anyone thinking of an upgrade.
