As this was for my wife who is 81 and not over familiar with all things IT. I did not want anything too complicated . This reader fits the bill well.It was in use within minutes after initial charge and though I need to download books for her that is not a problem as I use my computer on a regular bases and I don't have to teach her about the WiFi. The refreshing of the screen if you are changing features seems a little slow but I am comparing it with my tablet PC so it's not really a fair comparison.
