This really is an oustanding all in one printer, my old HP doesn't even compare! Unusually for a cheap inkjet, the SX535wd includes an integral paper tray - so no more fanned out paper sticking out of the back of the printer! The printer uses pigment inks, rather than dyes. Dyes soak into the paper stock, whereas pigment inks stay on the surface. The real advantage of this that you can print text or business documents with laser like quality in full colour, even on plain paper! Although it still pays to buy good quality plain paper such as HP Bright White or Xerox. So what about photo printing? Well, it's really quite outstanding - even lab quality - however unlike inkjet printers that use dye inks it is a little fussy about the paper stock that you use. Don't expect any glossy photo paper to produce great results, you need to buy paper Epson DuraBrite paper, or any other photo paper designed for pigment inks.
