At a purchase price of just £62, I wasn't expecting much from this sub. However, it performs every bit as well as other "entry level" subwoofers which are twice the price. The build quality is excellent, nice rounded edges and a solid feel to the cabinet. The features are sparse, just a on/off, volume level and single line level input, but it does what it is designed to do. Hooked it up to my denon avr and was enjoying decent boomy bass in no time. Perfectly adequate for your average home cinema setup, unless you have a large room or are into high end equipment. But then you're probably not going to consider a 8" subwoofer anyway... |

I bought this sub as a temporary replacement for a Celestion S8 which was being repaired, I now like it so much that Im gonna keep it in pride of place on my cinema setup! Its much better musically than my old sub which is what really surprised me! Quality build as usual from Yamaha. Buy it, you wont be sorry. |
