TomTom has added a new model to its GO series of GPS units: the Go 730. The Go 730 comes with a voice recognition feature, an FM transmitter and a Bluetooth function, so you can make hands-free calls in complete safety. You can use the the Go 730 to calculate itineraries - you just need to state the address of your destination to get it going. The Go 730 includes an IQ Routes mode, which provides more ?intelligent? information based on the average road speeds during the weekday and weekends, giving you a more accurate idea of driving and arrival times, saving you time, and cutting back on fuel costs. An advanced guidance programme displays the number of lanes and which lane you should be in for your upcoming turn on-screen, and gives you a 3D image of what?s ahead, which is particularly useful for complicated junctions. The Go 730 also has a MapShare function, allowing you to modify maps, road names, traffic directions and other information and send your changes directly to the TomTom community by connecting your GPS to your computer.
