Sanyo’s presents the latest addition to its range of innovative, compact digital camcorders: the Xacti HD700. This handy camcorder has a 7-megapixel CCD sensor that records images in high definition (1280 x 720 pixels), and uses MPEG4-AVC/H.264 encoding to record footage to SD memory card for optimum video quality. The digital image stabiliser eliminates the effects of camera shake as you record, while the sensor re-aligns the image for clear still photos. The Xacti HD700 is also equipped with HDMI and USB 2.0 connections for hooking it up to your HD TV. You can even connect it to your computer and explore the world of video editing using the included Adobe software package: use Premiere Elements to create your own films, add transition effects and save your project to DVD. The Xacti HD700 HD camcorder from Sanyo turns video recording into child’s play!
