Sanyo continues to innovate its range of compact digital camcorders with the Xacti HD700. This handy video camera has a 7-megapixel CCD sensor that records images in high definition (1280 x 720 pixels).
The Xacti HD700 uses MPEG4-AVC/H.264 encoding to record footage to SD memory card for optimum video quality.
The digital image stabiliser eliminates the effects of camera shake as you record, while the gyroscopic sensor re-aligns the image for clear stills in photo mode.
The Xacti HD700 is equipped with HDMI and USB 2.0 connections for hooking it up to your HD TV. You can even connect it to your computer and explore the world of video editing using the included Adobe software package: use Premiere Elements to create your own films, add transition effects and finalise your project on DVD.
