Cutting:
Cut a modular cable to the desired length. Make sure that all the ends of the cable are cut equally long.
Stripping:
Insert the cable through the stripper blades until it touchers the stop point behind the blades at the other side of the tool
Squeeze the handles and pull the tool. If done correctly the outer insulation of the cable will be removed without damaging the insulation of the inner conductors.
Crimping:
Insert a modular plug in the modular plug holder of the tool until the front of the plug is exactly against the stop point behind the holder at the other side of the tool and gold contacts face the crimping device.Insert the prepared cable into the plug, the inner conductors of the cable should be placed firmly against the top pf the modular plug conductor and should be located exactly under the gold contacts of the plug.
Complete the work by squeezing the handles firmly to set the contacts and secure the cable.
Cable Ends:
These CAT5 cable conectors are used on the ends of network cables to plug into an ethernet port on a pc, router or othet network device to form a network connection. This pack of 10 connectors can be used to replace any faulty cable connections your have, or to create a network cable connection for a lead you have wired yourself.
Cable Boots:
These cable boots are used on bare wired cable when your are fixing on the plugs yourself. These boots fit in between the cable and the crimp ends to provide a better fit to your cable, and reduce the strain of the wires and lead. The boots allow the cable end better flexiblity and grip of the cable. There are 10 cable boots included in this bag, so you will never have to worry about wiring bare network cable yourself again.
