SPEEDO Speedo Aquabeat MP3 Player - 1 GB black

Best thing since sliced bread! I am doing a 22 mile sponsored swim and didn't want to get bored whilst pounding the lengths. Aside from the slightly small capacity for the money (lots more expensive then a normal 1gb player but it is waterproof) this is a fantastic gadget small, well designed and perfect for purpose unless your swimming for a ridiculous amount of time the capacity won't be a problem. The coiled headphone cord is ideal as it doesn't dangle and stays out of the way behind your head. Headphones sound really tinny out of the water but once submerged sound really great bringing full deep sound. I would throughly recommended this product to anyone.

Having read mixed reviews I was a little anxious to purchase this product. However, from my own experience it works brilliantly and makes the swimming pool lengths not such a chore !! The earphones do take a bit of getting use to, but they have to completely fill the ear otherwise they wouldn't work !! The sound was much better than I imagined, crystal clear. I didn't use the buttons at all in the pool but they are easy to navigate when placed on the back of your head without being able to see them. I have black googles and a black Aquabeat which matches very well. I didn't feel at all stupid and I don't think many people even noticed what I was wearing. This item is a must for anyone swimming up and down for any period of time.

This is a phenomenal buy. After swimming 20 laps , its not physical fatigue but loss of concentration that makes me stop. Now , with the Aquabeat player , I am able to do 40-50 laps comfortably and I can vary the tempo of the music according to how fast I want to swim. This product is much better than its competitors, though simpler. Its hassle free with consistent sound quality which is good , but not exceptional. The earphones were uncomfortable at first but now I'm used to them. Go for it !
