in low lighting conditions without any loss in resolution, and view what you're
shooting before and after taking the photo on its easy-to-read, 3" LCD screen.
The Live View mode means you can focus in on your scene directly on the screen,
while scene and face recognition technologies ensure you never miss a thing.
The D90 is also equipped with a high definition video mode, which is rare for a
product in this category, as well as a host of image editing functions so you
can add your own personal stamp to all your creations. Like all the cameras in
its manufacturer's product catalogue, the Nikon D90 has
a sturdy, lightweight aluminium and plastic casing, in addition to a burst mode
of 4.5 frames per second!
The D90 is
supplied here with a compact 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR lens with a built-in VR
stabiliser that compensates for low aperture, reducing the risk of blur. Plus,
the range of this lens - equivalent to 27-157.5mm on traditional cameras -
covers a wider area to shoot sweeping landscapes, sporting events and
documentaries. This lens even includes an aspheric lens with an ED coating and
an SWM autofocus for improved focusing and image reproduction.

Well today was the day ive been looking forward to for awhile! Seen UPS arriving at my door put a smile on my face and when i first powered up the D90 i knew i made the right choice! Camera is very sturdy in the hand and just feels solid... 18-105mm lens as a kit lens is brilliant, They both work really fast and the picture quality is exceptional.. Its very user friendly also and also the added bonus of having 720p movie mode which works great with a 50mm lens! I really cant say anything bad about this camera for the price! I highly recommend this camera! |

he price is very good. I have paid attention to D90 for a long time. The price is the lowest of the world. I saw Japanese,Chinese web site as well. PIX is the cheapest one. D90 is the best one for beginner to learn SLR. Nikon SLR is the best one than others. There are 17 languages which can be chosen. But the introduction manuel is English.

I bought the D90 in preference to the D5100 mainly because I want to take photos and be able to change settings quickly and easily. The array of dials and buttons facilitates this. I have no need of the video function at all and so the enhanced video ability of the D5100 is of no consequence to me. I have a Sony HD Camcorder for video.

I bought this camera as I am starting out taking photos professionally and I thought it would be a great starter camera. The lens 18 - 105 has great diversity for shooting people, landscapes and still life. The controls are very easy to use and can flip back and forth with comfort. I am very pleased that I bought this camera. Now I just need to add more lenses. |

I sometimes get annoyed with the auto focus, it won't let you take a shot slightly out of focus. Easy solution and just use manual focus. |
