Direct successor to the G9, the PowerShot G10 is the first camera in the PowerShot G series with a 28 mm wide-angle lens and is perfect
for taking shots of groups of people. The PowerShot G10 is
first and foremost designed for beginners, but can be used by anyone. The PowerShot
G10 is a cross between a digital SLR camera and a compact camera, coming
with a CCD sensor with 14 megapixels, as opposed to the 12 of its predecessor. The PowerShot
G10 uses Canon?s new DIGIC 4 processor, which is frequently used by
professionals of SLR photography, to ensure you get superb photos every time! The
PowerShot G10 is also equipped with an innovative i-Contrast mode
that analyses scenes while you?re shooting them or playing them back, and
automatically corrects brightness and exposure accordingly. In addition, the PowerShot
G10 has a 3-inch PureColor
LCD screen that performs well in bright sun, and an ISO 3200 mode that allows
you to take great snaps even in the worst lighting conditions. Plus, the PowerShot
G10?s optical
image stabiliser, face detection technology and subject motion tracking work
