It is the best steamer on the market! All compartments are separate. You can even cook in only one of them at a time. But if you are vooking 3 different products which obviously need different times for cooking it automatically starts off with the longest one and then switches on all the rest to make sure that they all finish at the same time. <br /><br />

It has 3 separate compartments which can work either all together or separately (even matches timing)! Afther cooking it idles to keep the food hot. |

The most negative thing is that you will want to throw away all other cookers |
