The nüvi 550 is a compact, lightweight GPS geared for adventures in the great outdoors. Garmin?s nüvi 550 contains maps for most European countries, displayed on the 3.5-inch, anti-glare touch screen.
The nüvi 550 can be used on a bike, in the car, on a boat, or even while you?re hiking, thanks to features such as a compass mode, orientation games and journey logs.
The nüvi 550 is fully compatible with Bluetooth, acquiring GPS signals quickly and giving you a total lifetime of 8 hours. With the nüvi 550, you?ll be able to discover new places thanks to its extensive list of points of interest, which you can add to.
And to ensure you stay within the legal speed limit, the nüvi 550 is equipped with alerts telling you when you?re speeding and the locations of hidden fixed or mobile speed cameras, as well as warnings for when you?re approaching red lights.
Complete with a memory extension slot for MicroSD cards and compatibility with Premium TMC services (via the optional GTM25 cable), the nüvi 550 is the perfect travelling companion!
