For the last few years, my friends and I have chosen NZXT cases for our machines, but I'm very surprised by this offering from Advance. When I needed to get a new motherboard for my brother's ailing Acer, I decided to get a new case with it, as I was sick of having to deal with the limited space inside the Acer, for example graphics cards were hell to remove. I didn't have the money to get an NZXT case, so went with something cheaper. It looked good on the image Pixmania supplied, and it looks just as good now that it's here (though I must note that the front lights there are not rounded like on the old Alienware cases, they're mostly flat). After spending much more on NZXT cases, I was pleasantly surprised by this one, being of a much lower cost and I presumed, built of of lower grade materials. I was wrong. The outside of the case is a glossy, shiny black, with rubber gromets on the bottom to protect the case, a nice little touch and something I didn't expect in a case of this price. The hard drive cage doesn't use the rail system preferred by other manufacturers of recent years, but uses the older "align up to bracket and screw in" system. While the drive rails are great, I've had a tendency to lose them over time and it's extremely annoying when I have no new rails with which to install a new drive, so I must say I prefer the older system employed in this case. There is plenty of space inside, about as much as you'd expect of a midi-tower, nothing surprising whether good or bad. The front panel consists of an e-sata port, two USB ports and the usual microphone and speaker connections. The door covering the optical drives has two small magnets which keep it closed, though they could be a bit stronger. There are one or two downsides, but minor ones only. The door on the front is quite flimsy - not that I expect it to break easily, but you can tell it's made with cheap plastic. The power cable for the forward lights barely made it to the connector just below the CPU socket. And that's it. Overall, a fantastic deal for the little money you pay, it looks great when powered on and is very quiet in operation. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good tower, but not as ready to spend a bit more money on the bigger manufacturers.	+ Low-cost, looks great, well designed	- Some cables could use a little more length	08/11/2010	10 out of 10
