A short (25cm) line adaptor with an RJ45 line socket to a 3.5mm stereo jack plug (Supplied in pairs).This is designed to allow CAT5 cable to be used to extend the distance between the IR receivers and the Keene IRBKIT and IR Commander infra red distribution systems.To use simply plug one KA175 into the IR receiver and another into the IR receiver socket of the IRBKIT or IRCOMMANDER and then use a conventionally wired CAT5 network cable between the two items. Using this method it is possible to remote mount IR receivers at distances of up to 100m.
