As well as reading this great new image format, the DMP-BD35EG-K also uses P4HD and PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus image processing with gives you colours that are literally bursting off the screen. You''ll even see the difference with classic DVDs, thanks to 1080-pixel upscaling that improves basic output.

The sound has also been revolutionised, as minimum compression provides quality close to that of the original recording. A built-in Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD encoder even brings you realistic SurroundSound without having to modify the rest of your home viewing system.

DVDs may have brought us exclusive bonuses, but Blu-Ray takes this interactivity one step further, with its image-in-image possibilities.
