I use both my cameras for documentaries, plays, shows and sports matches, and the FX1000 is ideal for getting in close, with outstanding quality. |

This is a follow up to my HDRFX1E and the main difference is that it has a zoom of 20, compared to 12 on my other camera. It is quite suberb. |

When in Auto Focus mode, it tends to drift a little during sports events, but hey - go on manual! |
