Philips HR1861 Juicer

This is my first ever juicer. After researching the various juicers on the market, including the Which reviews, we chose this model as it had a very good review and seemed good value for the price. I am delighted with it. I use it twice a day and my husband and I are now having more than our five-a-day of fruit and veg. It would be a wise buy for vegetable shy children.
Cleaning it is no hardship-it takes minutes to wash and dry-a small price to pay for the delicious drinks it provides.
Another bonus was the great juicer book which came with it, which is full of recipes and nutrition information.

This a really good juicer looks smart and is well priced I have a small kitchen but it is not to big for it. It really only takes about 5 mins to make a delicious juice for breakfast no need to spend ages chopping fruit or veg just need to cut really large things in half maybe and off you go. You can put apples in whole. The cleaning is easy takes a minute to take parts off and rinse under the tap. I am now a juice alcoholic!! I have to have at least one juice a day have done a week of juicing lost weight and feel great! Have got my family and friends into juicing as well! Don't think twice about buying this juicer just order it today!

This is the best small appliance I have recently purchased,Its a great price , it takes minutes to juice and no need to cut and chop up fruit, unless it a melon of course ,I'm not a big fruit or veg eater , but now I am getting my 5+ a day , I wish I had got into juicing earlier. the Juicer is so easy to use no small parts , and so very easy to clean , just rinse the 4 parts under a running tap,simple ! And its ready to use again I have just ordered a 2nd one for my daughter and her family

I've had a couple of juicers and this is definitely the best in its price range. Set up in a couple of minutes and straightforward to use. The motor seems to handle the tougher foods without problem. Disappointed with soft fruits - produces only drips from a punnet of raspberries and the fruit itself is just mushed into the other waste pulp - always juice the soft fruit first as this seems to help a little. It is quite noisy but all juicers seem to be. Cleaning takes a couple of minutes but again this seems normal across various models. NEVER leave it to do later, the fine metal sieve will bung up with dried pulp. I just rinse all the parts under the tap and only give it a good' washing up liquid wash' every 4 or 5 uses. If this is your first model, you will be amazed how great fresh juices are and how different from the carton rubbish. The juicing / smoothie book that comes with it is a great help. All in all a great buy at the price.

A really smooth result, not too loud and REALLY easy to clean! Myself and my wife now have really nice fruit smoothies nearly everyday as part of our trying to eat more fruit and be more healthy lifestyle.
