The Canon PowerShot SX 200 IS gives you the bigger picture with its wide-angle 12x zoom. This camera features a pop-up flash and a 12-megapixel sensor, as well as a focal length of 28mm.

It's able to capture photos in resolutions of 4,000 x 3,000 pixels, meaning you can make poster-size copies of your work without losing quality. Plus, its wider field of vision is ideal for taking snaps of large groups of people.

The PowerShot SX 200 IS has a DIGIC 4 processor that makes it easier to take high-quality photos, and an intelligent auto mode that selects the best scene mode for excellent results every time.

The Servo AF function works by adjusting the focus to make sure moving subjects appear smooth and blur-free. Meanwhile, the PowerShot SX 200 IS's video mode records HD footage in 1,280 x 720-pixel quality at a rate of 30 frames per second.

The PowerShot SX 200 IS even boasts HDMi connectivity for video playback on an HD TV.
