After a lot of searching for a bean to cup machine without paying silly money for one we found the Delonghi 4200. We are not disappointed! It is easy from the start. Some people mentioned that you have to wait 10 minutes for the machine to cool down should you wish to make more than 2 cups....just turn off the steam function and open the milk frother for a few seconds and this allows the preasure to escape and the machine cools and is ready to go again...easy! |

This is such an easy machine to use. Fill up the water container, put in the coffee beans and press a button. Great tasting coffee is produced every time. There are dials so you can adjust the volume of water and the strength of the coffee. Making cappucino is straightforward too, using the frother arm. And cleaning it is quick and easy. I like the fact that the coffee is HOT too. Some machines make luke warm coffee - not this one. And with a separate container for beans and pre-ground coffee, it means you can use the pre-ground container for decaffeinated coffee and the beans container for normal coffee. One drawback is that when you use pre-ground coffee you can only make one cup at a time. For two cups you have to fill the coffee container again. It cleans itself whenever you switch it on and off and there is an economy button that will shut it down automatically after a certain time. I highly recommend this machine. |

Bought the Magnifica two weeks ago and so far I am very pleased with it. Need to experiment with different coffee beans to get the right flavour, but it makes an excellent cup of coffee. So nice to make a proper cappucino. It is so easy to use and makes two cups of coffee in no time at all. It is slightly noisy and in a small kitchen it takes up quite a bit of space, however I am more than happy with it. Magnifica by name and Magnifica by use. |
