The XM2 MiniDV digital camcorder from Canon is packed with all the latest innovations and technologies, and it has a number of high-performance functions and settings for capturing optimum video and sound footage. Its high-sensitivity tri-CCD sensor reaches a horizontal resolution of up to 540 lines and allows you to film even in low-lit surroundings. The new pixel shift system provides a wider dynamic range for videos, reduces vertical smear, and has a high 1.7-megapixel resolution for digital photos. Meanwhile, the clarity of your images is ensured by the optical image stabiliser, which eliminates the effects of camera shake.
Excellent quality images deserve excellent quality sound, which is why the XM2 has a directional microphone, recording ambient sounds in stereo and reducing mechanical background noise. The XM2 exceeds the expectations of even the most demanding videographers!
The XM2 has a number of manual commands that allow you to control the colour and lighting settings, not to mention professional-calibre functions (such as Zebra pattern, interval timer and Clear Scan).
Ideal for film fans, the XM2 guarantees perfect results each and every time!
