CNPS9500A-LED is specifically designed for efficient processor cooling (Pentium 4 and Athlon 64). The fan has two functionning modes depending on the temperature of the components. The cooler's special shape and the arrangement of its components are supposed to deliver cooling efficiency equivalent to six conventional heatpipes.
The fan is delivered with Fan Mate 2 speed controller.
