I bought this set for motorcycle maintenance and wanted a decent brand. Although no longer made in Sweden this Bahco set is ideal for smaller mechanical jobs and the wide selection of screwdriver bits are excellent when used with the range of extensions for tackling stubborn fasteners, where a normal screwdriver may not give enough purchase. The dynamic drive sockets are less likely to slip or damage a nut head than the bi-hex sockets often found in cheaper sets. The pull-out case divider doubles as a knee-pad & has a padded feel. The ratchet handle has a neat socket-retaining device, so a socket or extension bar cannot pull off the ratchet accidentally - just press the button on the ratchet head to attach or release a socket. The flexible extension is useful for reaching awkwardly placed nuts & screws. |
