The Samsung PL70 is a technological powerhouse! This ultra-compact camera boasts a 12.2-megapixel sensor and a 28mm wide-angle lens, so there's no need to step back or move forward to broaden your scene. The focal range of 28-140mm makes it easy to concentrate on a particular group of people or a single landscape, while the dual optical and digital stabiliser guarantees snaps turns out sharp and vibrant.

In addition to its many image-enhancing technologies, including automatic scene recognition, smile and face detection, a beauty mode to remove flaws and a self-portrait mode, the PL-70 has a fabulous high-definition video recording mode. This means that the PL70 can capture HD videos with HD 1280 x 720p resolutions, which you can play back on a larger screen with the help of the video connector.

What's more, the PL70 is comfortable to handle and easy to use, with a knob to select modes and a large 3-inch LCD screen.
