With its 10-megapixel CCD sensor
and 10x optical zoom, the compact SX120 IS is a
powerful addition to Canon's PowerShot range.
As an updated version of the PowerShot SX110 IS, the SX120 features
a brand new range of image-enhancement technology for even clearer, more precise
pictures. These include the Canon DIGIC 4 processor plus an AF face-detection
mode complete with a tracking function. An optical image stabiliser is also on
hand to help reduce the blurring caused by camera shake.
The PowerShot SX 120IS takes sharp pictures in a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736 pixels, and is easy
to use in all kinds of lighting conditions thanks to the auto
intelligent setting with 18 scene modes. The SX120IS even has
a 1 cm macro mode for high-quality close-ups
