As the successor of Canon's
prestigious G10, the Canon PowerShot G11 boasts a 10-
megapixel CCD sensor with a 45%-greater surface area per pixel for
crystal-clear results.
As well as a high-sensitivity sensor, the G11 also feature the
DIGIC image processor with a dual noise-reduction system. Plus, this
top-of-the-rage compact has an optical viewfinder and a clear, sharp 3-inch
swivel screen for lining up all your shots with ease.
The G 11 has a 28 mm wide-angle lens for a broader field of
vision that's perfect for sweeping landscapes or group shots. What's more, the
i-Contrast setting will automatically analyse your pictures in shoot or
playback mode to correct the lighting and exposure.
The G11 has an ISO 3200 mode for low-light photography, as
well as an optical image stabiliser and face-detection with movement tracking.
The Power Shot G11 packs technology worthy of an SLR into a compact
camera body that's subtle, powerful and a perfect portable solution to professional-quality
digital photography.
