This amazing set of hardware is perfect for recording home video, tv shows, making back up dvds and even record as you play on an Xbox 360 or PS3. I give this product 10 out of 10 for its easy software usage and High Definition video if records. This is a must buy for Gamers and persons that have kids that like to mess around with there dvds. Firstly, this product is very simple to setup. It took me around 5 minutes just to set it up with the Xbox; using the component cables provided you need to input them into the component out to the TV component connection and then the Xbox component cables into the component in into the HD PVR. Simple and theres plenty of tutorials on Youtube that'll guide you through it. Make sure to update the firmware if you're having flickering problems via the Hauppauge website. This'll also improve the quality of the recording being capture as well as improving response time when capturing. I only wish they would make the cables bigger i now have to go and buy a 3m usb 2.0 extender so i can connect the PVR to my computer. Overall 8/10 |
