increasing wireless speed by up to 12 times!
The Edimax
EW-7416APn effectively acts as a bridge
between Ethernet and wireless connections, and allows your wireless client
stations to access both wired and wireless devices.
A Universal
Repeater Mode is incorporated, which is a standardised function compatible with
other wireless Access Points and Routers. This feature extends coverage and
signal strength in the existing wireless environment - potentially creating a
magnified wireless network in extremely large spaces such as in airports and
hotels.
Security is
also well taken care of in the Edimax EW-7416APn,
with the inclusion of 64/128 bit key length WEP data encryption, MAC access
control, IEEE 802.1x authentication, TKIP, AES and hidden ESSID.
The Edimax EW-7416APn Wireless 802.11n Range Extender
& Access Point is configurable in user-friendly fashion using a web browser,
which is also used for firmware upgrades.
