Sony UWA-BR100AEP Wireless LAN Adapter

It is used with a Sony BVD-E370 Blu-Ray cinema system. I connected it up, went to the menu and set auto find. It found the Apple WiFi immediately and having put in the password, it connected straight through. We ca get the BBC iPlayer together with HD content, Demand5, Love Film and the huge range of on demand facilities that Sony offer. Best of all, the next day after installing the adapter, it gave us a message that there was a software update from Sony - downloaded it and lo and behold, there was even more content. I even think the sound and picture quality of playback has improved.

All in all, I am very satisfied - buy one if you have a good WiFi connection.

This is a good product, as Sony the quality is second to none. However as you are stuck to buying Sony to connect your system to wifi it is a bit overpriced.
Despite that Pixmania was still the cheapest even when you added on p&p etc.
Came very quickly and worked first time within seconds of installation.
The device itself is WPS enabled so it connected with the push of a button on my router and on my remote control, could not have been easier, and gives a steady stream from my router which is located in a different room.

It is a pricey bit of kit, but as it works straight from the box and enhances the home cinema experience in loads of ways I feel that it is money well spent. Great to be able to stream photos and music from my pc.

This USB dongle is simple, just plug in to the TV USB socket and it picks up a DHCP address from your home router. Press the internet enable button on your remote control and selected internet pages pop up on your TV. I found the menu system very easy to use and the dongle itself was a breeze, no connection issues at all. I did find that the pages once selcted took around 7 -8 seconds to load up, but after that the images where fairly clear with very little in the way of grain and HD movies over the internet were amazing, none of that buffering and staggered images you get with some streaming. Very impressed, just waiting for Sony to add BBC iplayer to their repository which i've been informed is some time soon.
