Writers equipped with LightScribe technology allow the same laser used to burn data to a disc, to burn text and graphics to the other side of the disc (label side).
This means that rather than writing the content of the disc by hand, you can use tools such as printers and stickers. Users can also get images in slikscreen quality by using Verbatim CD/DVDs with the optical laser block of their writer.
To use this new technology, users must own a writer that employs LightScribe technology, as well as compatible software and supports.
