The AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200 mm f/4-5.6 G ED telephoto lens from Nikon is extremely powerful and comes with a wide selection of improved optical features destined for use with Nikon DX format digital SLRs. The large 55-200 mm range of this lens is the equivalent to 82.5-300 mm (in 24x36 format), which enables it to cover longer focal distances and makes it ideal for photo-taking in telephoto mode.
The optical performances of the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200 mm f/4-5.6 G ED lens are optimised, thanks to the integration of two ED glass lenses that correct chromatic aberrations. In addition, AF-S technology (SWM motor) allows the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200 mm f/4-5.6 G ED to automatically focus when used with the AF system of digital SLRs from Nikon. You'll also get high resolution and sharp images. You can even add a rotating zoom ring for even greater precision, and make sure that your digital SLR gives great results when taking photos from far away!
