INFORAD K2 Speed Camera Warning System

K2 simple to use and unobtrusive. easy to move from car to car.used it in the pooring rain and it "spotted" two obscured cameras that i would have visualy missed. in mx5 with roof on could use in lighter socket and charge. led difficult to see as only on one side(points toward passenger in UK) but you only need the sound.
in family car i use blue tac to rest in on the dash, rather than the clip provided and charge when on a clean known journey.
records journey but i cannot get it to show route on map only start end point. recomended.

I bought this because my new car has on-baord sat nav. Previously had Tom Tom - which is far superior to on board systems - a point which I've only just discovered to my peril. The K2 provides me with the warnings I lost when I gave up my Tom Tom. So at the price (not much more that the speed camera subscription costs with Tom Tom) it represents real value for money. I originally bough a K1 from Halfords - which didn't work. So I took it back and ordered the K2 from Pixmania - I think that the addition of the variable volume switch on the K2 is a much needed refinement over the K1. If you set the volume to max and then enter camera area whilst exceeding the speed limit you get a deafening hullabaloo - which would be impossible to ignore. A tip - to charge this whilst on the move get yourself a decent length USB extension cable (male to female) this allows to unit to stay on the screen or dash whilst recharging from car's power socket (which is more than likely not in a place that can't receive satellite signals).
