Successor to the GX8, the Caplio GX100 from Ricoh combines the qualities of an adjustable focus 24mm wide-angle lens with the performance of a 10.01-megapixel CCD sensor. The photographer will be able to widen the field for wide-angle shots or focus in on a particular subject thanks to its in-built 3x optical zoom. For optimum clarity in all circumstances, the Caplio GX100 includes an anti-vibration system with a CCD sensor off-setting. This system compensates for camera movement and lets you take clear pictures without a tripod in dimly-lit environments, even without a flash, for more realistic rendering with excellent quality. This, combined with 1600 ISO sensitivity, makes this camera is unbeatable in all circumstances. The camera is easy to handle thanks to its intuitive ergonomics. The two user-friendly toggle controls are easy to use, while the 2.5” (6.35cm) LCD screen offers a 170° viewing angle for ideal visibility. With its ingenious design, the GX100 distinguishes itself by its various optional accessories that are adapted to your needs, such as, notably, the removable electronic viewfinder that fixes onto the camera clamp for use in SLR mode (as with a digital reflex) and lets you take advantage of complete image coverage when shooting. Superior to its predecessor on all points, the Caplio GX100 will stimulate your creativity and let you express your photographic talents to their fullest.
