BELLING FSE60MF Electric Cooker - Black

Generally we are very pleased with this cooker. The control of the main oven is very flexible and so far it has cooked all meals to perfection. The second smaller oven is very useful and the combined grill is also a good feature. We chose the cooker because of it's looks, ease of cleaning, the flexibility of the controls and most of all the "A" rating of both ovens. This is important because electricity prices are on an upwards spiral and we wanted the most efficient cooker we could get. The price was good considering the many features on the cooker. We did look at other Belling cookers, but this one seemed to meet our needs and gave the best value for money. It was in fact cheaper than other cookers in the Belling range, which did not have the same features and flexibility. Now the bad bits. The electrical terminals were small and not very robust for the size of cable needed to power the appliance. The lack of a roasting tin in addition to a grill pan was noted. In the past roasting tins have been provided with our new cookers. By far the worst feature was the very weak supports for the trays in both ovens. These were not in keeping with the general build of the oven, which was good. From a safety point of view, the lack of stops when pulling out the trays was very dangerous and hot food could be tipped out of both ovens if the trays were pulled out too far.
Having said that the cooker is good value for money. It looks good in black and has so far been very good for cooking all meals. We would recommend the purchase of this cooker.
