I bought this to keep junior quiet in the car on long journey's so I wasnt looking for a top end machine. It's solidly built with easy to use controls on the player itself. The remote is small and cluttered and there is no volume control on the remote. The screen quality is good and visible from most angles. The sound quality isnt great and sounds quite tinny. It played AVI's from a DVD but I havent tried playing them from USB or SD. The TV tuner didnt pick up any Irish digital chanels,not sure if this is because of recieption issues or compatiability with the Irish signal, but this was not a major drawback for me. The carry pouch supplied which doubles as the headrest holder for the car is handy. It took about 1 hour to fully charge. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, the question is now will it keep junior happy. |
