Excellent scanner for the money,easy to set up and use with good intuitive software.Can scan directly to e:mail / pdf / tif formats and can also scan directly to a printer. Scan quality at the highest setting (600dpi) is superb whether in mono or colour and even at the lower quality settings it produces perfectly presentable results , another pleasant surprise is the speed with which scans are completed. The scanner can be set to "go to sleep" and save lamp life via the software which is handy. Have had this machine for around 10 months and it hasn't missed a beat. Maybe a bit ugly compared to some others but this doesn't matter a jot - when it comes down to business this scanner delivers excellent quality A3 scanning at a (relatively) affordable price , recommended without reservation , buy one today ! |
