The Xacti CA65?s waterproof and shockproof design means you can enjoy filming your family and friends at the beach, by the swimming pool or on the ski slopes without worrying about the camcorder getting wet from rain or snow, or your accidentally dropping it. This camcorder is primarily designed for use by those of you who enjoy extreme sports, because it?s waterproof to up to 1.5 m. The Xacti CA65 is no ordinary camcorder - it comes with a magnificent CCD sensor that?s able to capture the action on camera in resolutions of 6 megapixels, and can also record videos directly in MPEG4-AVC and H.264 formats on an SD card. In addition, the CA65 is compatible with 8 GB SDHC memory cards, which are sold separately, so you can save up to 80 minutes of film. Thanks to its digital image stabiliser, it corrects blur; and with its super macro mode of just 1 cm, you can take extremely detailed photos. Also equipped with a 5x optical zoom for precise focusing and a 2.5? LCD screen, the Xacti CA65 is sure to make a big splash in the world of digital camcorders!
