Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ45 - black

I purchased this camera a week ago and have hardly put it out of my hands since, I love it as it is so so easy to use. I am still finding new things that I can do with it. I love the fact that it is so light and easy to handle. can't praise it enough.

I have wanted a camera that took really good photos and although I have a really good compact, I love taking nature shots and wanted something that would make my photos really sing. I had read lots of reviews and went for this camera for its ease of use, the no phaff lens and the price.<br /><br />
Not had it for long, but very impressed with the zoom. The picture quality at full zoom is really impressive, very little pixelation. I think I will need to practice with all the different settings and I really don't know enough to use all the manual settings, but that was part of the fun of getting an SLR digital bridge camera.<br /><br />
The manual is big, long and on disc, somehow I feel I would understand it better if there were DVD clips, but that is maybe just me and my learning style!<br /><br />
I said it was a bit plasticky, but they couldn't use metal and keep the weight down, so it is a compromise. It doesn't feel flimsy though.<br /><br />
Looking forward to some good photos and happy with my purchase

A fantasticly versatile camera easy to use giving loads of options to get a great picture and no messing around with lots of lenses so ideal for travellers where space and weight is an issue, easy to carrry
