The Coolpix S550 is Nikon's most compact digital camera to date. The elegant and lightweight S550 has a 5x optical zoom and a 10-megapixel sensor, and it has the same sturdy, aluminium casing as other cameras in the Coolpix S range. The S550 also includes an Expeed processor and 3-InCamera technology, to ensure that images turn out perfectly in all kinds of situations. You’ll be able to take great portrait shots, thanks to the “AF face-priority” function. Meanwhile, the automatic red-eye correction feature and D-Lighting really bring out the best in your shots: D-Lighting corrects shadow to ensure that images are as true to life as possible. The Coolpix S550’s High ISO range automatically reduces blur by choosing the best ISO sensitivity, and the camera can also focus in on smiles and notify you when your subjects’ eyes are closed.
