The Panasonic HDC-HS900 boasts an advanced 9.15-megapixel
3MOS sensor to deliver Full HD images with bright colour and sharp details. The
three 1/4.1" sensors make it possible to capture 1080p frames at a rate of 50
per second, meaning results are much smoother as twice the information of 1080i
(interlace) recording is conveyed.
In addition to its 220 GB built-in memory,
the HDC-HS900 has SD, SDHC and SDXC
slots for memory cards. The HDCHS900's 35
mm wide-angle lens gives you a broader view, enabling you to pack more into
your frame. Meanwhile, the Leica Dicomar lens with 12x optical zoom is twinned
with an optical image stabiliser to keep your aim ever-steady.
The HDC HS900's
manual ring and 3.5-inch touch screen give you fingertip control over the
settings, including focus, zoom and exposure. Sensitivity reaches 1400 lux in
standard mode, and goes down to 1 lux in night mode.
The built-in microphone records 5.1
surround sound. Plus, you can hook up an external microphone to the HDC-HS900 thanks to the
accessories hot-shoe.

We bought this for our upcoming wedding and have been using it to practice everywhere since. Such a small compact camera that takes brilliant stills as well as high quality filming. The 14 megapixels is better than our current camera and takes fantastic pictures even for us amateurs who dont want a hi-tech SLR camera. The transfer from camera to PC is very simple and no need for SD cards with limited memory as this goes straight on to your Harddrive. Would highly recommend this camera |
