Canon is expanding its acclaimed and popular series of PowerShot digital cameras with the introduction of a new, easy-to-use, feature-rich model: the PowerShot A470! The PowerShot A470 has a large LCD screen and a 7-megapixel CCD sensor so you can set up your shot and get perfect results. Its screen not only enables you to find the best viewing angle, it also allows you to activate a number of digital modes.
The A470 is ideal for first time camera users, because it comes with a number of handy scene modes and a 9-point Ai-AF face detection mode, as well as shadow adjustment technology so you can take frame-worthy shots even in low lighting conditions. The PowerShot A470 has a 3.4x optical zoom and a 12x combined zoom, so photographers of all levels can capture great shots, while its super macro mode lets you get up close to your subject.
