The AF 55-200mm F/4-5.6 Di II LD macro lens from Tamron, designed exclusively for digital reflex cameras, covers a focal length equivalent to 85-310 mm in 35 mm format. This lens allows you to take advantage of effects such as picture stretching and compression, usually used on telephotos lenses for dynamic pictures. The lightweight, compact AF 55-200mm F/4-5.6 Di II LD macro lens is perfectly adapted to sports photos, as well as portrait and landscape photos. Its versatility makes it an interesting alternative to a wide-angle zoom. The internal surface treatment deletes ghost images and parasite light, so your picture conserves perfect lighting in any circumstances, while an LD glass element reduces chromatic aberrations, giving your camera a new level of performance.

A really fantastic walkabout lens. Unless you do serious wildlife work, all you need is this and a kit lens. Good for macro too, nice bokeh at 200mm. Can be used for wildlife, as you can blow up shots later.
