For nearly three decades, Alpine has focused exclusively on creating superior products for the car. Extensive research has given us a deep understanding of the uniquely challenging acoustic environment of the automobile, and into the needs and desires of drivers/listeners. The Technology Evaluation Center at our Iwaki Plant provides research support for all our development efforts. Equipped with precision audio measurement equipment, its Audio Lab simulates a wide variety of driving conditions during product testing. The large Radio Wave Lab tests our tuners' reception abilities under varying conditions. The Center also makes extensive use of 3D CAD/CAM systems, incorporating test data and other input into the design of new products and technologies. Proof of our dedication to quality came in July 1993, when ALPINE became the first Japanese car audio manufacturer to obtain ISO-9001 certification. Check our full range of car-radios.
