The sleek Sanyo VPC-HD800 can take both stills and videos. The Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD800 camera sports a compact and light-weight body, and easily saves data onto SD/SDHC memory cards for convenience. The Sanyo VPC-HD800 will take stills and videos used on a personal computer or for the Web, houses a new three-dimensional digital noise reduction (3DDNR) filter, and adds the Face Chaser for both stills and videos with an active scanner visible on the monitor.

The Xacti CA100 is Sanyo's first Full HD 2-in-1 digital camera and camcorder that can be used under water. With a CMOS sensor and a 12x telephoto range, the Xacti CA-100 records Full HD videos to SD, SDHC and SDXC media cards.
