Remote control:

The Wii remote control has intuitive commands. Up to four Wiimotes can be connected to the console simultaneously. The Wiimote and the Nunchuk controller can be hooked up together, and both include motion detectors. The Wiimote also includes an in-built speaker; a rumble function; an extension port; a power switch; a multidirectional controller; A and B; Select; Home; and 1 and 2 buttons. The Nunchuk controller even comes with an analogue controller and two extra buttons (C and Z).

Design:

The Wii has a compact and stylish design that adapts perfectly to your TV stand. The console can be placed vertically or horizontally.

Discs:

The console reads single and dual-layer 12-cm optical discs, as well as Nintendo GameCube 8-cm discs.

Internet:

The Wii gives you a connection to the internet even when it?s turned off. The ?WiiConnect24? provides updates for games and other content. Gamers can connect wirelessly via the IEEE802.11b/g standard or using a USB 2.0 local network adapter. The Wii can also be connected to a Nintendo DS console.

Virtual Console:

The Wii can also download Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, or NES video games. Plus, the Virtual Console can play Sega Megadrive and TurboGrafx games (a console developed by NEC and Hudson).

The Wii includes 5112 MB of in-built flash memory, two USB 2.0 ports and an in-built Wi-Fi adapter. A slot for SD memory cards lets gamers increase the storage space of the in-built flash memory.
